[@Antarctic Termite] I've had this happen all over.  It was especially fun when my rp char's eventual husband (like three IRL years later) asked him out by saying the best pickup line of all time: "When I saw you get eaten by that dragon, I realized I liked you.  Wanna grab dinner?"
