	He may look young, even boyish, but the March Hare is one of the oldest things in wonderland. After all, the first mother needed someone to deliver her child, at least that's what the legends say. Who cares what the doctor himself has to say on the subject?

[color=gray][h3]Personality[/h3][/color]
	As suggested by his lesser known nickname, Alistair is one of the sanest of the Wonderlands; a strange attribute indeed given the disposition of most living in his wondrous world. He's a very sobering man, and his exterior is a course one, often displaying a sense that he isn't interested in being bothered, claiming to prefer the company of his work. However, once one gets past his harsh front, he is an incredibly emphatic man with a poets heart. 

	He may often appear cynical, and perhaps even pessimistic, however in truth he prefers to be pleasantly surprised and expect disappointed, rather than pray for beauty and be let down. He's a cautious individual, and often holds his cards close to his chest, not often exposing much of himself unless among those he has a true connection with.

	Those few lucky enough to see the truth in him will be met with one of the most loving and awestruck men in wonderland, and will likely begin to see the beauty of the world poetry so often alludes to. He considers himself to be something of a philosopher, and has gathered an interest in arts of all kinds. He is a man that can truly see beauty in everything encounters, and his words can teach one to love the beauty he can find.

	Along with most of the Wonderlanders, where or how Alistair came about is a mystery; However many have come to know the "Why" of his being. Alistair stands as the reasoning in madness, and should one look closely enough they may find that is meant to be taken quite literally; but Alistair himself would never answer in a manner that can definitively define his reasoning for being one of the only sane man in Wonderland. It is whispered that he delivered the Wonderland's first child, and that he will seal it's final casket. Sadly, Alistair rarely responds to these claims, and even more rarely does he give anything resembling a straight answer. He regularly asserts that why he is in Wonderland isn't what matters, but what's important is that he [i]is.[/i]

	Since Alistair's beginning, if he had one, he has been preforming medicine for those who are ailed by sickness or hurt in war. As a doctor, he refuses to take sides during wars, and will instead nurse members of either side back to health. Due to his amicability towards the people of wonderland regardless of alignment, he has been seen as a respected person. Often times, he will act as a mediator in conflicts, remaining impartial to any loyalty but that of the health of all in wonderland. He can occasionally be requested for council, given that his disposition is ultimately one of a realist, and will always offer advice based upon what is best for all.

	However, despite his neutrality towards the conflicts of the Red and White kingdoms, he does appear to be partial towards the white kingdoms, and lives with the Mad Hatter, caring for Alices and any other who may request his aid.  During times of conflict however, he has a cabin that is equidistant from the Red and White castles, and he will take position there to aid those harmed by war.
