Alright, I have taken this all into consideration and I think it would be interesting to be the cabin boy, I would say musician but they typically have a power related to music. 

As for the crew, I think it would be best if they sold him to pay off a debt to a Pirate warlord (Buggy the clown). BonBon forgives his crew but holds a grudge against the Warlord. It doesn't matter too much who the Warlord is. Or it could be better that BonBon turns himself in to settle his crews debts and says goodbye to his friends to save their lives. Yeah I like the last one.
