As the three made their final agreement and stepped into their individual doorways, the staircase fell silent. The portals disappeared behind them, and the hallway they entered from flattened, turning from a climbing staircase, to a hallway that circles a single floor. Within, Jenso's mother, and Milena were still held captive, locked up against the wall. But Jenso, Bruce and Alvios were nowhere to be seen, and their belongings now lined the three entrance ways into Ada's room. A black smoke prompted Shaidra's arrival, moments later. She scampered across the outer hallway, stopping in front of each object and eyeing them curiously. The small animal like woman picked up Jenso's goldenrod cloth and glared at it curiously. Suddenly her eyes opened wide, and a smile crept across her face, barely hidden behind her black mask.
