Lucannus was hoping to hit the library before the day comes to an end. To keep him occupied he opened one of his books regarding primtive life in the deadlands. Lucannus would occasionally glance out the window to look at the scenery, comparing it to Airelosia. The Unoctocan Empire was much safer place, everyday was not a challenge to making it to the next. Soon the Institute came into view making the devil smirk for a breif second before returning to his aloof expression. As the train stopped he placed the book in his ruck sack as he prepared to exit the train. The first off the train were the humans, it annoyed him how they believed they were the superior race. Finally the Chimera were allowed off. Lucannus instinctively wrapped his tail around his waist and slung his rucksack over his shoulder. As he stepped off the train he noticed the barrier around the newcomers that sheltered them from the rain fall. Advancing forward he moved with a condescending stride, as if the crowd was giving the devil room to walk. As he saw the gate it gave him a feeling of excitement. Mordhabens was the real thing, he believed nothing would stop him from being at the top of his class. He glanced left and right taking a look at the monsters around him, they came in many different sizes though he had not seen any potential threats just yet. The strong would discern themselves from the weak soon enough. As the students made way to the opening ceremony he could see some of the professors conversing between one another. He had also hoped to speak with some of them as well, he planned on taking advantage of all the opporunities given to him at the academy. Lucannus made his way to the outer ring of the courtyard dropping his rucksack between his legs and opened up his book again. He disliked being in the crowds, thats how belongings go disappearing. He would wait until the Ceremony began to rejoin the crowd, until then he would delve back into his book.
