She's the younger of three, having two older brothers. Her mother works as a home cleaner and her father is a mechanic She's the first in her family to have shown any sign of magic, leaving all of them shocked and excited.
Since the age of three, after having serious financial problems and her grandmother getting sick, they moved in with her paternal grandparents. Her grandfather is a Lutheran Pastor and when they learned Lola had been accepted into a School of Wizardry and Witchcraft, they all had an argument about it. In the end, after she ended up crying desperately for feeling like a failure to her family, they all calmed down and talked about it. Now everyone except her grandfather, who is still unsure about it, is happy for her.
