[@Yuria] for your review. Also for [@Odin] to look at if this fits with the Kang Shal

Yi Baek-Hyeon
Name:
Yi Baek-Hyeon
Age:
26
Gender:
Male
Nationality:
Korean
Occupation
Bartender at Echoes. As a dayjob, Baek-Hyeon works as a bartender at a nightclub called Echoes. Found in the Lower District, Echoes is a seedy bar and a regular watering hole and hangout for the Kang Shal. Baek usually works the slower dayshift a few days a week, freeing most of his nights for other activities. The bartending job pays decently for the hours he works, but is ultimately a cover for his primary activities. Within the Kang Shal, Baek-Hyeon acts primarily as an Enforcer and personal bodyguard to Min-Soo and his older brother, keeping other members in line and doing the bidding of his bosses. Good with a gun, his fists, or a cattle prod, Baek's experience and skillset tends to keep him on the 'violent crime' side of the gang's business, whether it be on the street with the rest of the boys, or in a dark poorly lit room with a trough of water and some poor sod tied up in a chair.
Place of Residence:
Apartment 24E 'The Traphouse', The Complex. Baek-Hyeon and about half a dozen other members of the Kang Shal live in a small 2 bedroom-2 bathroom apartment in the Complex. Collectively known by the group as either the TrapHouse, or the Frathouse, it serves as little more than a sleeping space for its half dozen occupants. As a member of rank, Baek and one other high ranking member of the gang share one of the bedrooms, while the other 5 take up the other bedroom and the couch and floor. Its a small, messy place, and drug use is fairly commonplace.
Cybernetics
Cyberarm: Baek's left arm is a cyberarm, replaced by a streetdoc shortly after joining the Kang Shal. From a distance, the limb looks like a normal human arm, though upon closer inspection the seams between skin-toned plating can be made out. The resulting limb is stronger and faster than the average human arm. Baek has taken the time to decal the plates of his cyberarm in a manner similar to a sleeve tattoo. Neon Kang Shal Logo: A secondary implant on Baek's left cyberarm shoulder takes the shape of the Kang Shal twin-knives logo. It looks similar to a tattoo, but is slightly raised above the skin plates, and glows a neon blue when triggered.
Bio
A rich kid that fell in with the wrong crowd. At least, relatively speaking. He was the youngest child of a moderately successful family. Always a bit of a troublemaker, Baek regularly got into trouble as a kid for getting into fights and bullying. Despite this, or perhaps due to this, he got along well with some high school members of the local Water Street gang, and slowly began to fall in with them. As a kid, he'd run errands and do lookout work for the crew, and would bully and recruit other kids from the local school districts. As a child Baek was relaxed and lazy, but feisty and confrontational, and the Water Street gang encouraged his behavior. The gang gave him a taste of parties, and the fun, daring side of life. As high school came around, Baek fully fell in with the 'wrong crowd' and began partaking in drugs and gang related activities. The Water Street gang took him in as a full fledged member and put him to work as a foot soldier in their little operation. Extortion, selling drugs, beating people and finding new recruits, Baek learned fast from the School of Hard Knocks, courtesy of the hood and the streets around them. Good with his fists and a decent shot with a gun, what surprised the Water Street gang the most was Baek's sadistic streak, he thoroughly enjoyed teasing and terrorizing his victims, asserting his position over them whenever he was able, "Playing with his food", as others call it. The Water Street Gang were one of the first gangs to be incorporated into the Kang Shal's ranks. When the Kang Shal came onto Water Street Gang territory, Baek and the others put up a fight, but despite their best efforts were beaten down and subjugated, Baek receiving a broken arm for his troubles. The Water Street Gang was incorporated into the Kang Shal and its members reintegrated, while dissenting or those refusing to join killed and tossed aside. Over the next several years, Baek would prove to be a loyal and dependable member of the Kang Shal, and would eventually rise through the ranks to become a successful enforcer, earning a shiny new cyberarm as a reward. Baek-Hyeon lacks any real drive in life, seeking out only a life of excitement and luxury. As far as he sees it, the Kang Shal is the most suitable given his skillset, and most entertaining method of reaching those goals.
