[color=f49ac2]Grif is able to manipulate the kinetic energy in both himself and the world around him, he is able to use this ability to do a [i]"crap ton of awesome stuff"[/i] as he likes to put it. Such as he is able to increase the kinetic energy within an object to send it rocketing off at unbelievable speeds. On the other end of the spectrum Grif can remove the kinetic energy from an object causing it to come to a crashing halt. He can even manipulate his own kinetic energy to allow him to move remarkably fast, deal devastating blows, and even launch himself flying through the air. Grif can even send out shockwaves of kinetic energy through the air, likewise he can send these same shockwaves through the ground or other solid objects.[/color]

[color=f49ac2][i]  "Uhh I guess I should start with my parents shouldn't I? My mom is pretty simple if you ask me, she grew up in a rough city with crappy parents and no education, it is no real surprise that she ended up working the streets. My dad though... he is a bit of a different story. You ever hear of that villain the Devastator? Yeah the one that went around leveling whole cities, well that's dear ol' dad. Turns out that even men with the power to topple skyscrapers still want to get their rocks off from time to time, cue my mother and her uh... skills. Look I could go on and on about how my dad is a monster of a person that deserves to rot in the deepest, darkest hole possible and how my mom was some call girl that got paid to sleep with scum, but that won't get us anywhere, trust me. 

  Anyway my childhood wasn't so bad, despite my mom's job she tried her best to raise me right. Made sure I went to school and kept my nose out of trouble, well as much as possible. Eventually got myself a little sister to look after, luckily she didn't have the same amazing dad I did. All and all things were pretty good, great friends and family, rough neighborhood but it had nice enough people, and a okay school to go to. Things only started to get complicated when my powers show up. First it was small stuff like throwing a ball super far and running faster, but then I was ripping doors off their hinges and jumping over buildings, that was when my momma let me in on who my dad really was.

  It was a lot to take in but I tried to put a good spin on it. Just because my dad was an ass hat doesn't mean I have to be right? So that is why I tried to set out and make my city better. It started out pretty great, I was stopping robberies and muggings left and right, I felt like a real hero... But then one day there was this bank robbery... I didn't mean to use so much power. I-I... I unleashed a shockwave that crumbled the building... So many people hurt and kil- ...T-That is why I am here... I want to make sure that I never do something like that ever again..."[/i][/color]

[color=f49ac2]Despite his upbeat attitude and good nature deep down Grif is terrified that he is like his father, that no matter how hard he tries that he is just innately bad. He wants nothing more in this world than to make up for all the damage and destruction his father has caused.

Before his powers manifested Grif always had his heart on one day going to culinary school and opening up his own restaurant.[/color]
