As was discussed in the Discord, is it absolutely necessary that they be the 'Teen' Titans? Could [@Ink Blood] simply not find an age that's a bit more mid ground allowing for a compromise towards both parties? If Dick is currently 34, then he was as you said 24 in 2007, but even shaving a few years off could be justification enough for Dick to be mistaken as a 'teen' ten years ago.
