Instead, she stayed quiet, merely turning to look towards Coulson. Phil was feeling conflicted, to say the least. He trusted his agents and they did have a point - they needed all of the man power they could get. But this wasn't a decision for him to make. 

	"I'll have to take this to Director Fury," Phil said. "He won't like this."

	Phil nodded, looking over Carolina and October. "Welcome to the Avengers Initiative, girls. Your codenames will be Spirit and Ember, provided Director Fury accepts you into the program. But as Agent Chase said, that shouldn't be a problem. You are undercover operatives - no public affiliation with the Avengers. You can tell no one you were involved in this program." 

	Bonnie looked over at October, as if asking if the girl could accept this deal. They wouldn't be on the Gifted Index, provided they worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. It wasn't an ideal situation in October's mind, but at the same time, she saw some perks to it. She could do something she loved - travel looking for odd things.
