Connor smiled "thanks. I really don't care about the outcome, I just wanted to show I don't have to rely on the suit to fight, and that I am not the same as I was the first time I fought on the first day."

Connor frowned, as Anthony passed a note to kijani. Was Anthony manipulate kijani, and if so, how? He didn't like it. But what could he do about it? 

He hesitated, debating about asking what was going on, but stopped. If kijani wanted to tell him, she would when she wanted to. He couldn't make her tell him. 

So instead he stayed silent, watching and thinking. He couldn't help but smile when Kijani kissed his check, and he nodded. "Sure"
