He has shaggy/unkempt chocolate colored hair. His eyes are Hazel/green in appearance. Background: Lorenzo grew up in the village of Windor. He was the obnly child of a hunter named Eldridge and his wife Loretta. Lorenzo's mother taught him how to see the beauty in everything. She always dreamed of being a painter for the wealthy nobility. Alas, they did not have the funds to afford it. Instead, she would take Lorenzo down by the stream and mix dirt into clay. She showed him how to make beautiful pieces even out of the most poor materials. She made birds, dogs, flowers, horses, clouds and many other works of nature. The spark of creativity was kindled in his heart in those formative years. From his father, he learned a lot about the art of the bow. But what particularly interested Lorenzo, was the hounds he was able to hunt with. His father remarked how easily the dogs came to liking Lorenzo. Even the wild dogs seemed to get broken in without much effort on his part. Lorenzo raised a bloodhound pup until adulthood naming him "Loyal." He was so gifted at the art of dog training that their liege lord, Bryce of Milborne took notice. He hired Lorenzo to be one of his personal hound trainers at his castle many miles away at the age of 15. His mother and father couldn't be prouder of him and sent him on his way with Loyal as a gift. After, a tearful goodbye he traveled to the castle with his lord's messengers. He would make a new life in the city of Milborne. When Lorenzo arrived he was immediately met with many perplexed, scoffing hunters and trainers. Many of them couldn't believe one so young as he could possibly know more about training dogs. Even during his first time meeting the dogs, the leering crowds made Lorenzo nervous. In turn, the animals became anxious themselves. Lord Bryce looked on disappointed. The other trainers ridiculed and mocked him. He went away that day like a beat dog with his tail between his legs. Despite his own insecurities and feelings of rejection, Lorenzo made it a point in his heart to overcome. Instead of heading to his living quarters, he decided to spend the night with the dogs in secret. For the next few weeks, he would train with the animals all day long and then go to sleep with them right outside their kennels. His bonds with the dogs grew very strong while the rest of the hunters and trainers looked on in bewilderment. By the end of the month, all the dogs ran to Lorenzo as soon as the kennels opened up in the morning. Lord Bryce was very impressed. He instructed his head kennel master to have Lorenzo specifically train his personal blood hound. Lorenzo was honored to do so and that dog became the best hunting dog besides Loyal. Two years passed and Lorenzo had been promoted to assistant kennel master, directly under the head. He was paid quite well and sent a large amount home to help his family. His mother could even begin painting! Life was looking up for Lorenzo. That was until he met a terrible accident. Lorenzo and Loyal were traveling down the city roads coming home from work that evening. It had been a long day and Lorenzo couldn't wait to get home and practice with his art supplies he recently acquired. That's when a farmer lost control of his wagon and it came rolling down the road at an alarming speed. Before Lorenzo had time to turn around or react, it rolled over his legs and killed his dog, Loyal. In a flash the world turned upside down. For the next few weeks, Lorenzo was bedridden. The local physician tended to him. Even his liege lord came and visited every so often. Unfortunately, nothing could console Lorenzo from the loss of his legs and even worse, the death of his best friend. During the last of his treatments the physician sadly told Lorenzo that he would never walk again. Lorenzo knew that a dog trainer required the use of his legs in order to work with the animals on the grounds. His professional prospects looked very grim. During these darkest of days, his parents came and visited him. They cried with him and hugged for what seemed like ages. The pain of his loss was great, but their love for one another was greater. His parents informed Lorenzo they were moving to [SOMEWHERE] to make a life for themselves as well as help take care of him. Lorenzo felt a little guilty about having their help at his age. He wanted to be out on his own. Circumstances said differently. They bought a small cottage on the outskirts of the city with their lord's blessing. There Eldridge hunted while Loretta and Lorenzo painted. They created many works of art his mom ended up selling them in town. Mostly to the middle/upper classes. Lorenzo however, refused to sell his own creations because he believed they looked horrendous. His mother tried to tell him otherwise, but he wouldn't hear it. Now, the howls sometimes wake him in the night. Though, he knows that Loyal is long gone and buried. There is not a night that goes by that Lorenzo does not think about his him. Some of the townsfolk claim that when one dies the spirit moves on. Lorenzo is skeptical of these kinds of tales. Though, it is easier to believe when you lay in the quiet of the dark...
Personality
Demeanor: Lorenzo is a laid back individual who gets along with almost everybody. He loves his mom and dad though he thinks they smother him to much. It may not seem like it, but when Lorenzo wants something he has an insatiable drive to see whatever it is through until the very end. His tenacity and courage are powerful traits of his. He just needs the opportunity to use them. He had a tendency to downplay and dislike his own work. Whether that be his art, or his training he does for the dogs. After his tragic accident, he bottled up a lot of pain inside. He rarely goes out anymore fearing more sorrow. Likes: -Painting, drawing, and art in general. -Dogs and other friendly animals. -Hunting. -Hooded cloaks. -The color lavender. -His family. Dislikes: -Sickness -His art. -Disrespect. -Societal norms. -Expectations. -Spiders. Skills: Dog handler: Lorenzo has a natural gift for raising, training and taking care of dogs. From the many times he had been bitten by the dog or the many times the dog bit something to save him, the two became a perfect duo, like soup and crackers. Unfortunately, Loyal met an unfortunate fate at the hands of a carriage, but Lorenzo still lives on in glee with the fond memories of his companion. Loretta - Lorenzo's mom, and main inspiration in his life. She taught him to see beauty in the world, and she was an outstanding mom in general. She still is, too, despite Lorenzo not showing affection a ton since the incident. Eldridge - Lorenzo's Father, and the man who brought him into the world of dog-raising. From being a dumb kid that couldn't do a lot, this man brought him up from that, and he's awesome for doing that. Lord Bryce - A big player in his life, the old Lord of Lorenzo wasn't always the kindest, but since he got his hunting companion, his entire opinion of Lorenzo had changed. The feelings were definitely mutual. Martyrdom - The successor to Loyal, Martyrdom gives it his all despite still learning, and while Lorenzo does appreciate the dog for doing what he does, he doesn't like showing more affection than he has to because it makes him feel like a traitor to Loyal. Unknown:
Oh shit I claimed the first Char Post.
