It was Holly's first show, and the first time any band even remotely cool had visited Adelwood. Posters all around town had advertised the night in bold lettering: 11/11/93. Dawnslight, Rockview, Dark Style. Live and Loud at Morrison Theater. Holly had admittedly stolen one, and it memorialized the night forever on the door of her bedroom. As she stood in the autumn frost waiting for tickets, she dreamed about getting front row, and getting a chance to interact with Mitch Steel, the lead singer of (and really the only good thing about) Dawnslight. She smiled a silent self-smile, and had to check that she didn't have a wagging tail spazzing out behind her. The thought of her first concert experience was a very exciting one, and the poor half-wolf had a habit of growing an accidental tail when she was excited. This, of course, would practically be social suicide. She was with her friends Michelle, a human, and Sinead, a member of her pack. While Sinead would have most likely laughed at Holly's lapse, Michelle was not likely to feel the same sentiment. In fact, while Holly was very accustomed and used to humanity and its many quirks, there still existed an unspoken rule that those members of DuskDrawn, and even those MoonLead, should not reveal their identities to their non-mythical counterparts. Such a rule was imposed after humanity's reactions to their kind in Europe, a true failure in the face of equality, and an action that forced all those who were effectively different into hiding. Holly tried not to think about this, however, and though she actively avoided showing her true self out of fear, she did not fear or resent the humans around her. She lived with them, she worked with them, and tonight, she would rock the hell out with them. She was third in line, short-sticked by two total posers. Who the hell wears lipstick to a grunge show? She could hardly keep from howling as the doors opened and her ticket was accepted. Front row! Ahhhh! She turned to Sinead. "Holy shit holy shit holy shit! I'm sorry, I'm trying so hard not to fangirl right now!" Six old eyes watched two rivals enter a theater. MoonLead had a history of lurking and observing from afar, and tonight was no exception. But what were these three discussing? What about tonight, and these people in these place, garnered there attention? They talked amongst themselves.
