She was focused on her self assigned mission at hand: solving the murder of Mayor Ryder. While she normally did these sort of things with Finn, this time was an exception. She couldn't tell practically anyone that she could see ghosts. Miss Halsey was a safe choice - she already believed in the supernatural. Other people would simply dismiss Jenna as crazy.

While it was most likely evidence, she doubted that the police would be able to do much with it. They wouldn't consider paranormal causes for Mayor Ryder's death.
