Her own thoughts were racing. Her stomach was doing flip-flops. She was still hungry, but had no desire to eat anything. In fact, part of her wanted to throw up what little she had left. Her mind was going through everything she saw up until that point. The smell. It was horrendous. Was it the cause of the diner scene? Surely it couldn't have been if they smelled it. They were ok, apart from being hungry. It hit her then. Maybe it was the cause. Did the smell cause the people to go crazy and kill each other? She didn't take too hard of a look at the bodies. She only noticed that they were dead and that there were pills about. Maybe the people got so hungry that they attacked each other. It would explain the food scattered about. If that were the case, were the men responsible? Thankfully, it didn't seem like they were seen as they drove away. "I don't know what to think. All I know is that this is well beyond a high school girl's wheelhouse." Was it though? Part of her was horrified, but another part of her wanted to find answers, even if the answers were terrifying. They made it to the community center. Whitney stormed out of her car and ran to the building just as the agent was walking out. "Agent Baker! Wait! There's something you need to see. The diner...it's...horrible. There's more people dead. Please, come quickly."
