Being cruel to your troop = shot in the back. Happened a lot but the British Army where officers also purchased their commission. I feel I should point out we’re a Dragoon regiment. We are considered an elite cavalry unit by most standards so your average cruel jackass is not likely to exist there. Granted some yelling at the lads can’t hurt, but you want effective horsemen who can guard your flank. Not a terrified infantry peom who simply follows orders. Cavalry charges often dissolved into men working in small groups or alone to chase down targets. I imagine, much like the British Rifles, independence and thinking for ones self is encouraged. Full disclosure here, I am actually a member of a Federal Mounted unit. Cavalry is what I do! Well, ceremonially anyway. I wear a normal uniform and do normal work stuff too. [@VoiD]Also, are we sticking with the Brits and Prussians being the only real users of rifles or are our carbines rifled?
