I am tentatively posting this to see if anyone is interested in a Dot Hack based roleplay.

I would bring in 2-3 players to form either a party of three or four players.

I want to keep the RP small and self-contained.

I also would keep the pace fairly slow to accommodate other responsibilities. 

And posts would generally be 3-4 paragraphs which I think is manageable. 

Now for those who are unfamiliar with the fandom itself, I am basing the RP around the video games of .Hack. I am leaning more toward R:1 than R:2. The World itself is a popular online game with millions of players worldwide. It is a fantasy game where players can run shops, storm dungeons, raise animals known as Grunites and collect rare items. It's basically a virtual reality game where our characters will meet and take on quests together. I also wish to dabble in their offline lives as well so I am expecting that our gang is friends offline. Now whether they became friends online first or all joined The World together, is up to us. The point is, this is going to be a slice of life RP with eventual mysteries.

If anyone is aware, comatose victims do play a general theme in these games and anime shows. I am on the fence if I want that to be the issue that spurs our heroes forward but that is probably going to happen down the line. And it's also likely our heroes will then be given some epic item to have to combat the evil from inside the game itself.

Much of this is still in development but I want to see if anyone is interested. With .Hack//GU Last Recode out, I thought there might be some interested folks. I am okay with this being a one on one venture if there isn't enough interest though. If you'd like to know more about the types of characters we can be (weapons wise) you can ask me or Google .Hack R:1 and that should give you a good vision of what I have in mind. I may steal bits from R:2 though, it depends on feedback given.

So yeah, that's about it. If you're interested let me know. I didn't want to spam the Interest Check with a ton of information as I want to assume those interested, know dot hack. But I am happy to compile information in the OOC of course.
