"It's okay" Connor said to Austin, "really. I think I made a point today. Don't waste any effort on seething against Anthony, he isn't worth the time or effort" 

Connor was pleased that Austin would stand up for him, as always. But he wouldn't let his friend get in trouble because of him, not again. Not that Austin had had any punishment. "Thank you"
