Most were people she helped out when she was genin doing D rank missions. She felt awful for them. Being held captive waiting for help to show up just for some of the help to leave to do another task while the rest just waited for something to happen. She didn't just choose to be the one to watch over the hostages because she had the best chance of saving them if something went wrong. Although that was the most prominent reason. If they should fail at saving the hostages, Ryko wanted to be the one to take the blame. Not some foreigner from another village. She didn't want the potential families of the victims to blame another village for their loss. All of her current team members were going to try their best, risking their lives to save them. People not even from their village, and she respected them for it. The least she could do is make sure they didn't get the blame for anything should anything go wrong. Ryoko slowly started to draw her special kunai from her sheath and pouch respectively. She didn't want to be seen as being aggressive to rescuing the hostages, but at the same time wanted the hostages to see that she wasn't going to let them get hurt. Ryoko turned to the rest of her team with her weapons now drawn."Any Objections?"
