The creature was hurt. She was certain once more and it would go down. The wolf had succeeded and it seemed most other's attention was on it. However, it was too risky. Having seen the knife throw that killed the woman before, she didn't want to throw herself in only to be killed by someone else's recklessness. She stood back, watching it as it lunged at the next target. She wanted to wait for the opportune moment where she could land the fatal blow. Better to be prepared than to jump into a fight too quickly.
