And here's my character!
Name: Viktor Antalya Appearance: He can manipulate his looks. He just prefers to look like a neatly dressed human boy these days. Gender: Male Race: Shadow-walker Age: 28 Personality: "It's not about winning or losing. It's about playing a beautiful game." Viktor is easily described as being playful, careless, and having zero concern for safety, which is easy for him, since as a shadow-walker, he can just jumps in and out of danger without problem. He will do things for the sake of doing them, talk anywhere without caring where it will take him. He has no morality compass aside from the desire to have the most interesting outcome possible, and will happily sit out of conflicts and watch events unfold, no matter which side he should be on. However, he is a great believer that all conflicts should be fair. He hates it when the strong takes advantage the weak, and will happily interfere to balance the playing board. He has no qualms with cheaters, as long as at the end of the day, it's a fair and beautiful game. Abilities: A shadow-walker are shaped by the shadows, and as such they don't have a physical form, only an illusion of one. They can shift their outfit and their looks when they're in contact with the dark. They can also walk through shadows, passing walls and going great distance in the blink of an eye. Provided they're not directly under the light of the sun, they can snuff out light and reshape and expand shadows outside of themselves. Equipment: Nothing, just him, a bundle of darkness. History: How a shadow-walker came to be is a mystery. Viktor only remembers that one moment he was nothing, and the next he was crawling from shadows to shadows, watching how other demons and humans live their life. He knew that he belonged in Tsukran first, being a demon himself, but he didn't see them as any different to the humans. Only that one of them has innate magic and the other can create magic with their tools and numbers, which is a fascinating balance. In time, Viktor would watch many battles between the two forces, each side using different techniques with neither having the advantage all the time. Even as blood was spilled, those asymmetric battles only fascinated him. But not all battles are so clean. Some battles are won with brute force and overwhelming numbers alone, and these battles disgusts him. Where is the elegance? Where is the splendour in executing a great strategy? To him there is no point in those kinds of fights, and he started to manipulate them. He'd trick people into leaving, he'd steal their rations or weapons. It wasn't much in the scheme of things. He's only one demon after all, but it satisfies him at the very least. Now that the king of Tsukran is getting old, he wondered how much things will change. A perpetual war is definitely in his interest, but only if it's fair and beautiful. And yet everywhere he saw tired demons, depressed humans, armies that were showing their wears. He didn't know yet what the future king will be like, but he's thinking of taking a more active role in balancing the board. Other: He's interested in aristocrat human fashion these days, but his fashion sense does change from time to time. He likes to look younger than he is, because heck, who doesn't?
