Standing in at six feet tall, Quinten has dark brown hair that is often on the shorter side and styled with the bangs slightly combed upwards but not fully spiked, and he definitely doesn’t shy away from covering that up with a hat. He’s relatively tanned and has simple brown eyes that have been said to be charming despite seeming bland at first glance. And when it comes to his body type, he’d say he’s on the muscular side of things. Of course, he was rather athletic back in his school and college years, and a part of that stuck in his routine.

When it comes to clothing, Quinten likes to stick to simple T-shirts and pants. Nothing too extreme, but being comfortable is always a must in his eyes. As such, he doesn’t normally go out of his way to dress up except on when the occasion calls for it. In warm weather, he’ll wear T-shirts and shorts, maybe even some sleeveless shirts if the weather is that hot. In cold weather, he’ll often be found in some sort of hoodie, and may wear sweats instead of pants. Overall, his wardrobe is somewhat plain, but he has a wide array of simple clothing that you’ll never really see him wear the same thing twice.

[indent]- Whenever Quinten smirks, he always closes his left eye as if he’s emphasizing his smile.
- Quinten always leaves early and hates being late, sometimes arriving a half an hour before he needs to get somewhere just to be ‘safe’.
- It’s easy to tell when something is bothering him, as he’ll often pace around lost in thought when this happens, maybe even mumbling to himself in the process.
- Always stands with his hands behind their back, sometimes in an “at ease” position, even though he was never in the military.

[indent] Singing | He doesn’t mind singing a variety of genres, and even has his own Youtube channel dedicated to covers.
Cooking | Cooking various foods has always helped Quinten relax and has always been a passion of his, and he doesn’t mind treating his friends to their favorite dishes whenever they want.
Sketching | Quinten always keep with him a sketchbook for whenever he has sudden inspiration or just to pass the time. It’s always been something he does simply because he likes to draw.
Video Games | When all else fails, playing a video game helps him let off some steam. Or makes him rage quit, but the latter hardly happens.

[indent]- Acrophobia | or simply the fear of heights. He can get on airplanes fine, but something as simple a second story balcony has his legs trembling.
- Being seen as a disappointment | He’s scared of being seen as worthless or disappointing to others. He already gave up on his parent’s expectations, and he’s constantly reminded of that disdain.[/indent]
- Horror Genre | He isn’t the best when it comes to the horror genre and is quite easy to scare. From movies to video games or just a simple haunted house, he’ll generally pass if he can.

[indent]- Family Issues | Quinten doesn’t like opening up about how he got to New York or his estranged relationship with his family, and will often dodge questions relating to them if he can.
- Blocked | Several of his covers had to be taken down due to copyright claims against him and, while resolved, still sting enough to hide from others.
- Hopes and Dreams | If you had asked him what he wanted to be when he got older, a bartender was definitely not on the list. In fact, he wanted to get into the video game industry, but he’d never outright admit that.

[indent]If there’s was a way to describe Quinten, it’s definitely resilient, maybe even silent defiance. He’s always had a capability to bounce back from seemingly helpless situations, to pull away from the brink and endure what he has to. Of course, his problems may seem small to many, and while that is the case and he accepts that, it doesn’t stop the part of him that is willing to endure or move forward. That could also play a part in his optimism, whether feigned or not, he always tries to act and see the brighter side of things. Even if he himself isn’t feeling alright, he doesn’t like worrying other people and will still put a smile on his face even if he isn’t happy. Staying positive is key to him, and even if a situation may seem bleak, he does his best to keep the situation under control and calm people down.

Though, he isn’t without his faults too. More often than not, Quinten doesn’t like to speak exactly what he’s thinking if he feels it will upset the other person. This often leads to him dodging questions or providing vague answers, and while he doesn’t lie, his silence could often indicate his opposite opinions more than words could. Along with this, he can be incredibly stubborn once his mind is made up and it takes heavy convincing to even consider changing his mind. Whether that’s a desire to win a competition or something more drastic, once Quinten’s mind is made up you can almost guarantee he’ll do it. And if he’s wrong, he does want to learn from that, maybe even apologize for his behavior. It’s just a matter of if he actually will.

[indent] Quinten was born as the youngest of the Booker family, to a mother who constantly had different part time jobs and a father who was more often than not gone for various deployments due to being in the Air Force. He had an older brother, Skyler, and two older sisters, Jennifer and Jeanette, who’s opinion often overshadowed Quinten’s, and the family certainly had their faults. Because their father was in the military, it often meant that they’d never stay in one place for long. Quinten doesn’t even remember his birth city or anything about it, which is to be expected as he didn’t live there long enough for any memories, being too young to really understand what was going on anyway.

And his parents certainly didn’t make things any better. They wanted the best for their children, and so they worked tirelessly to provide them with the illusion of comfort. But they were certainly authoritarian, where a simple misstep would often lead to punishment with no real explanation. And while the family loved each other, growing up under such strict conditions often leads to rebuttals later on, and it didn’t help that there was always a layer of tension between everyone. His mom wasn’t exactly the most faithful of wives, and his father, while seemingly kind, always demanded that his opinion was right regardless of if it was or not. They didn’t want what was best for their children, they wanted to live their own missed opportunities through them.

During these times, Quinten found comfort in school and in video games as an escape from reality. He’d play sports to appease his father, do well in school so as to not disappoint them and invoke their wrath, and even skip on his desires to join drama and choir because he felt they wouldn’t approve. Anything he did that he felt they’d disapprove of, he often did in secret whenever he was alone. Even in college, he was always the obedient one of the 4, at least from their perspective. So when he suddenly changed his major from sports medicine to computer science and his minor in the performing arts, his family was bewildered. He was simply following his heart for once, and it stung them that his desires did not match what they wanted. 

What stung worse was, after graduation, he finally mustered up the courage to tell them he was bisexual only to be met with immense criticism and hate from them. And to him, it was an expected outcome, one he had already accepted. But that didn't stop the fact that it hurt and he didn’t want to look back, he couldn’t afford to. He owed his family a lot, and despite their best efforts to control him, despite that they provided him with everything he could have needed to live comfortably, he threw it away, pulled a few favors, and moved to New York. Even if he isn’t doing exactly what he wants, at the very least he’s somewhere away from his family’s control. Somewhere where, for once, he can finally be himself.

A chance encounter, Quinn had been moving into his apartment when Fabian noticed and offered to help. While initially wary and a little confused, Quinn accepted the offer and the duo has been friends ever since. Quinn appreciates Fabian's lax attitude, their shared interest in video games and cooking, and just overall Fabian as a person.

Quinten only knows of Layla through word of mouth from Fabian, but he's heard good things about her. He's not sure if they've ever talked to one another yet, maybe small talk without knowing who they were. But overall, he feels she is more than likely a good person from what he's minimally heard.

Quinten and Corinne haven't met personally yet and as such their relationship isn't really defined at the moment. At most, he may only know that she exists somewhere in New York thanks to Fabian. Granted, any friends of Fabian is more than likely a good person, so he likely wouldn't mind her if they ever met.
