Thorin narrowed his eyes as he heard his nephew. It sounded too quick. "Mhhh, lots of injured people from Lake Town." Kili added. "You know, healer and all...Yavanna felt her duties laid with the sick and dying." God, if only his uncle knew the real reason? Thorin would curse her to hell and back. Kili didn't want to that. Kili felt as uneasy as his elder brother and God-Mother were feeling. Bilbo couldn't watch Thorin any longer...Thorin was still searching for the Arkenstone. Bilbo had it, he tried to give it to him a few times. But he was worried what it would do to him...already Thorin was possessed when it came to the treasure. It would get worse, if he had the Arkenstone. So Bilbo kept it, for safe keeping...away from Thorin for his own good. As he sat away from everyone...he examined the stone in his hands. Looking it over. Memories of Smaug flashed across his mind. 'I am almost tempted to let you take it. And watch it destroy him...watch it corrupt him!' Bilbo still remembered Smaug's words and felt guilty, for what happened to Lake Town.
