However, he was born with dark brown hair, green eyes. He stands at 6ft with long arms and legs. His skin has an almost unnoticeable reddish tint to it. Background: Marque was born in the town of Bourdeaux by his mother Erissa. She was working the streets in order to stay alive. She became pregnant one night by a foreign man that was visiting from a far off land. He was long gone by the time Erissa gave birth to a baby boy she named Marque. Erissa loved Marque deeply, but knew she could not give him the life he deserved. She delivered Marque to the local orphan worker with all the money she had acquired up until then. With a tearful kiss, Erissa sent Marque away to the city of Milborne. She hoped that in Milborne, Marque's purpose could be fully realized. Over the next years, Marque was raised by multiple orphanage workers. Never in the same care for long, he was passed around almost yearly. Being born of a prostitute had a certain stigma attached to it. Growing up, Marque soon realized that others would soon as pick on him as look at him. This made him very closed off, and fostered a burning hatred towards those who bullied him. Marque had a certain knack for feeling others' feelings; good, bad and ugly. This sense also included a certain impression he would get sometimes when bad things were about to happen. He spent his time playing on the buildings exterior, jumping from platform to platform. Marque was also an excellent climber, able to parkour his way around away from bullies. His mother Erissa sent him letters often that Marque loved to read. At the age of 10, Marque travelled throughout the city of Milborne. Anything to get away from his life at the orphanage. Even there, he found, people eyed him warily. It seemed that he could not run from who he was. If he couldn't be himself, he would become someone else. That day, Marque swiped makeup from a local vender and became "Dumont of Milborne." Unfortuantely, he wasn't very good with applying it to himself. A young girl about his age saw him steal the makeup and approached him. Afraid that he had been found out, Marque attempted to run through the alleyways back toward the orphanage. The girl chased him all the way with surprising speed that rivaled his own. She eventually caught up to him when his makeup dripped into his eye, blinding him. She tackled him to the ground as she yelled at him. However, instead of being angry that he had stolen the makeup she was mad at the way he had applied it! She helped him to his feet and showed him the proper tequniques of making yourself look like a different person. She said her name was Rosanne. Then she offered to show him to the local theater house. They could always use stage hands, though the pay was pretty rotten. Marque immediately agreed. What did he have to lose? They travelled to the theater of Milborne. There Marque was approached by a tall, swaggering man named Gardevior of Montenegrey. He spoke with an exotic accent Marque had never heard before. Gardevior did not ask his name nor question his identity. Everyone in the theater was accepted, no matter what their background was. Over the next 11 years, Marque learned all the tricks and gifts of the trade from Gardevior. He was like the father Marque never had. He helped cultivate a sense of humor in the downtrodden young man to the point where Marque could make audiences howl with laughter at his antics. He could change his character with ease. Able to turn from a shy, quiet young man into a biosterious, proud general within a moment. His mother Erissa would come visit and watch with joy as Marque performed for all to see. She stayed in a house Marque purchased for her with the money he made in theater. She could not be prouder of her baby boy. Even the Lord of Milborne would come watch the young man perform. Marque picked up a book on poetry, immediately falling in love with the eloquence and beauty portrayed in the wordplay. He would tell the tragedies and comedies of yesteryear with an authenticity people had never seen before. Gardevior was very impressed by his skill and made Marque the lead in many parts, with Rosanne being his lady on more then one occassion. Over this time, Rosanne and Marque became the closest of friends. She taught him how to dance freely. Marque got the feeling she was in love with him. He began to date her for a few happy months. It was a lot of fun for them both and Gardevior watched the two with a twinkle in his eyes. His mother wholeheartedly approved. However, despite these good tidings, Marque began to get an impression that something ominous was on the horizon. Though he didn't have an idea of what. He would soon find out. In year 12, a horrible fire swept through the theater destroying large portions of the building. Gardevior's living quarters was destroyed. In a moment, Marque's dreams, identity and security went up in literal smoke. The authorities determined the fire was started on accident by a fallen lamp. Marque was out on the streets once more that night. Rosanne accompanied him with no where else to go. Marque felt a disquiet in his soul that night. Everything seemed so strange. He sensed that the fire had not been an accident, but something more sinister. He did not know by who or what, but he intended to find out. He could only hope Gardeviorhad managed to escape in time..
Personality
Demeanor: Marque is a free spirit. He does what he believes is for the best, society taking a backseat. On the surface, he may seem easy to peg. However, Marque has a deepness about him that few stay around long enough to find out. He also has a wit about him, enjoying a good time with friends and family. He would sacrificeeverything for the ones he loves. He is very practiced in wordplay and rhyming. His skill at acting lets him range anywhere between gregarious loudmouth to a nobleman of the highest order. He fits each personality almost flawlessly. He only truly opens up his inner man to people who have proven trustworthy over time. Likes: -Acting/Storytelling -Poetry/rhyming -Praise. -Family -Parkour. -Having fun. Dislikes: -Bullies. -Society. -Violent, angry people. -Dreary obligations. -The Orphanage. -Not being listened to. Skills: Acting: Marque excels at the art of pretending to be someone else. He is able to revert between himself and anyone else easily, able to fool even the most watchful individuals through; disguise, voice manipulation and mannerisms. Performing: From dancing all the way to poetry, Marque can dazzle audiences with his many gifts. Parkour: Marque is well practiced in parkour. he is able to move from platforms, roofs, and all manner of objects within a city without much trouble. His long limbs allow him to reach for heights that most couldn't attempt. Sixth Sense: Though unpracticed, Marque is able to feel other peoples emotions at times. Especially the negative ones. On occassion, he is able to predict that something bad is about to happen. This is more rare. Dreams: Marque's dream is to provide for his growing family, find Gardevior and his absent father. Relationships: Erissa: Considering the first purchase Marque made with his theater income was a modest home for his mother, it's safe to say he holds no grudges over being given up to the orphanage. In fact it's quite the opposite. He knows times were harsh and it was the only option she had. Since he became a successful actor, they've built their relationship quite powerfully. He would do anything to make her happy as payment for all she's done to bring him into the world. Rosanne: Friend. Coworker. Soulmate. The moment she fell into his life (read: chased him down with intensity) the entire course of his being was irrevocably altered, definitely for the better. Ironically, while she has spent more time with his alter egos than anybody else, she's unquestionably the one who knows the most about his real self. He hopes to marry her once things settle down, and once he understands more about who he is. Gardevoir: If friends are the family you choose, Gardevoir is the father Marque always wanted. Rosanne may have introduced Marque to life in entertainment, but it was Gardevoir that fostered, taught, and gave him direction. Since the fire no remains of the playwright have been found, leading to much turmoil in the young man's mind. The only explanation is abduction, and Marque is determined to find him. Unknown Father: Marque knows nothing of his birth father, and his mother isn't particularly helpful in that regard. He holds no ire for the man; after all, as a drifting foreigner he'd have no way to know he had a son. That said, he holds no particular love for someone he's never met either. Even so, Marque seeks his birth father in hopes that he can better understand who he is and where he came from. Gear and Goods: Marque owns; cases of makeup, a couple masks, two sets of clothes, a wig and a bag of coins. His mom owns a small house in town. Unknown:
