The term "hierodule" was used by the Greeks to describe slave women prostitutes at temples in the ancient world. I have a setting of dragon-people called "dracons" (like in my avatar) who have similar temples, only that the hierodules in question are not slaves, but females who willingly live in the temple in order to conceive eggs for the nest there in order to provide a new generation of people to staff the rather large temple complex. It isn't prostitution in that case because no one charges for that "service" there.

Obviously, we don't have to go down the route I described exactly if those elements don't work for you (it is kinda unusual, I admit), but something a bit more along those lines, without robots. It could involve issues that such females would deal with living that sort of life.
