The infighting among her crew did not please Jill, but thankfully it ended before she had to step in and stop it. She raised an eyebrow at Dyn and sent him a telepathic Message. "Of course she cannot compete with you, but we need her in one piece. Let's try to work together." She couldn't be sure whether the beholder would let her into his deeper thoughts, but she knew he would prefer silent admonishment over an overt discipline. Plus, much of the crew still were not aware that she was the actual captain. Well, not directly. Jill swam towards the entrance to the Verdant Stream, pushing against the current into its maw. It wasn't long before they had entered the cavernous structure and were able to really observe it closely. To the mages in the group, it was fairly obvious that this entire structure was magical in nature, likely summoned or conjured as a prison for the marid. As they entered, there was a small room just inside the entrance with a wooden door blocking it. A barred window allowed a peek inside where piles of gold and other items lay, some of which were bound to be taken from powerful adventurers on a similar quest. Perhaps magical? Jill waited until everyone had entered the Verdant Stream and nodded towards the doorway. "Think we should open it?" she asked.
