Paz pulled out a watch as the blue light died down around her. Nine thirty AM, huh? Nine AM is after 12 AM, right? Well, no matter! Paz had planned for this. Well, not exactly planned, but she had herself covered. Sometime last night she had woken up realizing that she had totally forgotten that she couldn't just sleep in, and quickly pulled out her quipo. It was already past 12:30, but she figured the student orientation wasn’t that important. She had already read all the pamphlets, after all. Besides, she can just ask her roommate (roommates?) if she missed anything important. In any case, she tied a knot for- well, she didn’t remember the time exactly, but it was some time after 12:30, and she got it right on the dot, so she would be fine. She then went back to sleep, showered, ate breakfast at the hotel she stayed in (which was… interesting? She probably should have just eaten at the school, but she figured she'd have many opportunities to do that) and leisurely made her way to the mess hall at the school. She figured most people were asleep or busy, as she didn't see many people on her way. As she walked into the mess hall, the closed her eyes and began to tap into her magic. She figured she would come here, since it’d be a good way to get to know people, and she was hoping to get some good quality tea with milk (well, the way she liked it, it was more like milk with tea). When she opened her eyes, it was chaos. The crowded room was full of terrified people, a pair of kids disappearing, and uuuuuuh some boxes with ears attacking some giant? Paz turned around and walked out as some official looking staff ran in. She figured she wouldn't get involved and just ask about it later. Instead, she decided to go unpack her stuff in her dorm. When she walked out, she noticed there were more people out, and also that it was a lot darker outside. Oh yeah, that's right, the sun and moon correlate to time as well, huh? There’s a lot of stuff to get used to out here… She eventually made it to her dorm, and from the looks of it she was the first one there. She found the bed closest to the bathroom and plopped her suitcase on it- it wasn't exactly heavy, as she didn't bring a whole lot, but it made her claim feel more official. She started unpacking to pass the time- mostly clothing and various ropes, as well as a note from her mother than she pinned to the wall, and a stuffed rabbit she had as a child that she figured she’d keep. It made the place feel a little more like her own.
