[@Hawlin] Forgot to mention you in the first one, and actually I’m keeping a limit on races, just because I don’t want my original idea to become too fantastical with elves and dwarves and things like that. The world is essentially as it is now with just humans and the current animal species. Only difference is between those who can use magic and those who cannot. 

As far as the types of magic that are available, I leave that entirely to your imagination. The most rare being those who possess affinities for multiple schools of magic. Without getting too into the categories of magic, I’m leaving that open ended for people to be as creative as they want with their characters.
