Weight: 140 pounds (63.5 kg) Height: 5'8" (172.7 cm) Personality: Midori is an incredibly cheerful girl. She's almost always laughing and smiling. However, Midori is also incredibly judgemental. She often unintentionally insults others as she speaks without reservation. Her speaking filter is also broken - she constantly cusses and says obscene things while still having a sweet tone. This has lead to Midori having a fearsome reputation as a horrible person. Despite this, Midori still keeps on smiling, unaware that her lack of a filter is causing so many problems. Sharks are Midori's comfort zone, believe it or not. At all times, she has at least 7 shark facts ready to be shared. She also keeps an entire ecosystem of fish at her parents home. Despite never admitting it, Midori doesn't like staying on land for too long. She feels the most at peace while under water. When Midori is consumed by emotion (or startled by food), her head unintentionally transforms. History: Midori was always unusual. She never really liked anything other than sharks. When the other kids would play hero and villain, Midori would always be alone, reading about the fearsome predators. Despite this, Midori was content. She enjoyed sharks. They were cute to her, at the very least. However, Midori's parents, both quirkless, felt as though Midori was empty. The young Midori wasn't a very happy child - she didn't feel the need to be happy. All she did was read. However, her life changed while she was graduating from elementary school. The young and quirkless Midori had unintentionally fallen into a waterway while walking home. Unable to swim, the fearful Midori slowly began to drown. Except, she didn't. The young Midori had accidentally awakened her quirk. While Midori had panicked at first, the shock soon subsided as she realized that she could breath underwater. Even without the ability to swim, she could still walk out of the water. The entire ordeal was incredibly confusing for Midori. In fact, she was incredibly shocked when she looked back at the waterway after climbing out. The shark head shocked her - she had originally thought there was a shark in the water looking back at her. With this new quirk in hand, the young Midori entered middle school a changed person. Fellow classmates became interested in her - the ability to turn one's head into a shark was interesting to the boys in the class. The socially inept Midori quickly became one of the most popular kids in school. However, she was still socially inept. Her reputation quickly came, as she was never aware of what she said. That world of books had spoiled her. Despite this, for the first time in her life, Midori didn't just feel content - she felt happy. As Midori got older, she became more and more lost. She was unsure of what she wanted to do in life. Her parents had said that she could become a marine biologist, but for Midori's poor grades, that would prove to be difficult. Instead, Midori had decided to become a pro-hero. At first, her parents were extremely wary. They didn't want Midori to fight and be put in danger. However, Midori had managed to sway them - Midori had stated that she would work primarily as a marine conversationalist, protecting marine life from unsavory villains who looked to poach the endangered sharks. Reluctantly, they agreed. After graduating, Midori had taken the test to enter Chihaiten Academy. Which was most likely a mistake, since she still didn't know how to swim.
Quirk
Quirk Name: Shark Head Quirk Basics: A transformation-type quirk, Midori can turn her head into that of a shark's. Doing so grants her the properties and abilities of the species of shark she transforms into. Each transformation allows her to sense blood and breath in saltwater. She can currently transform into four different types of shark. The first is the Bull Shark. The Bull Shark is her strongest form. It allows for her to take out massive bites out of any soft object. However, her teeth have a limit - hard objects will shatter her teeth in this form. Additionally, she can breath in freshwater using this form. The second is the Tiger Shark. While weaker than the Bull Shark, the Tiger Shark gives Midori special teeth made specifically to break through hard objects. The third is the Hammerhead Shark. This form doesn't have nearly as strong or specialized bite as the other two, but instead grants Midori 360° vision and 3D smell, while allowing her to sense anything in saltwater by using electroreception. Her final form is the Thresher shark. Instead of giving just a head, the Thresh shark gives Midori a 5'10" long tail. The tail is as broad as her own torso. While almost useless on land, using it in water gives launches a shockwave that can stun anything in water. Quirk Weaknesses: In order to use her power, Midori must fully research a shark to know everything about them - size, diet, special traits, everything. While on land, it becomes extremely difficult to breath with her head transformed. She can only hold a form for four minutes while on land. In water, she can hold her form indefinitely. Midori herself is a poor swimmer, making her quirk extremely difficult to use in water.
