Looking over to Shaun who still looked completely devastated, Felix wished he could do something for the poor kid, but finding anything to say proved to be nearly impossible, so Felix regretfully turned his attention back to the discussion. Most of the arguments and theories were reasonable, but something didn’t quite click that he couldn’t pin down. Did someone contradict something? Was there anything that was missing? Nothing seemed to stand out, not until Calvin spoke up. And what he said was exactly what Felix was missing. “Yes...yes that’s it.” whispered Felix to himself before pointing at Calvin and speaking a bit louder. “Calvin is onto something, and I just might know what.” A faint enthusiastic tone appeared on Felix as he started to connect the dots. “I thought it didn’t make sense to use a bunch of metal arrows as a metal conduit when all you need is the buzzer itself, and the fact that some of the arrows are bent must mean something too. And now the gown, if it was only a fire starter, it wouldn’t have blood on it now would it?” He said raising a hand in question." “Now think about this. What if the arrows are bent, because they were used as a club? And the gown would be wrapped around the arrows to stabilize it. It would explain the blunt force trauma on-“ Felix stopped in the middle of his sentence with a numb expression. This wasn’t some unrelated case he was thinking about, it was real, and very dangerous. But stopping in the middle of his argument would only cause suspicion so after clearing his throat, he continued. “O-on the back of Marianne’s head, and uh, it would stain the gown with blood as well.”
