Xing Yi, was now facing his opponent in armed combat. It was time to see how his skilled adversary handled the chaos of the blade. His stance was excellent, but Xing still felt he had more experience. His darting thrust propelled him towards the Thai fighter, quickly closing distance, but the way he landed on one foot, made it too difficult for him to pivot out of the way of his oppopnen's counter thrust to his thigh. He tried to side step it once both feet were down but it still managed to slice into the outside of his left thigh, which hurt frightfully. After getting his balance he was now in the pocket with his opponent and angrily went for an downward elbow strike to the head of his ducked opponent following up with and overhead chop with his sword, in the trajectory of his opponent's shoulder.[@King Tai]
