Jax's words were kind, and Morthos appreciated them, "it's not just announcing my nobility that I didn't like back there. I could have told them I'm some kind of big shot without all the theatrics, I just lost control of myself. Things could have gone terribly, I'm not sure you could have stopped me...." He trailed off, shuddering at the thought of if he truly lost control, that building would have been gone. Morthos truly was happy to have Jax as a friend, even if he may have wanted more this was good enough, for now. "You didn't even know I was rich until I went to buy you that staff of yours, that's not information I just give away willy nilly." He got up and started off towards the library with Jax. She shouted some strange line about chicken being done and he must have given her one hell of a look because she doubled over laughing, explaining it was a line from some show. "Ah, ya, never had much time for TV, I was either studying magic or reading other things. There's this series about kids being thrown in to a life or death arena fight that I enjoy," Morthos wasn't paying too much attention and almost walked in to Jax as she stopped outside the library. "I mean, you were smaller back in the day too, right? So it's probably just that." Morthos had a bit of a look around the library as Jax set up their work space. It was nice looking, nowhere near as big as the library he had back home, but he doubted he'd ever find one bigger than that. Although there were rumours of a hidden library that was kept safe by a spirit of some kind....Morthos shook his head and came back to reality, going to sit with Jax. "Anything is good enough to get us started," he said to her. "I can do the symbols, hold on," he looked at the locations where he would need to mark and with a flourish of his hands, small almost holographic images appeared on the surface of the map. "I can keep these here for about an hour before I have to recast, not sure we'll be here that long but just letting you know."
