A pair of kids looking for a girl’s dog. The panting, the shouting, the fast breath of the being as it was being attack by three figures wearing dark robes. The desperate on the girl face toward her boyfriend’s broken states were just as real as the battle. And the dream stop with the strange men and women saying the word “awaken.” But the dream did not end there, not for Lee at least. From the chariot, Lee saw the eyes of the victims. They were slashed and chopped into small pieces. Their blood ran a dark red color and filled the wooden shack. Yet they could not stop looking at him. Voices of chaotic and missing words coming out from the flame. Suddenly, the ground grew a murky eye. Then came another one. And another one. In a few minutes, the place was filled with eyes of the dead. Voices of the victim rang in Lee mind, circling him in a ball of chains created by words. Its was meaningless, yet somehow those words carried a certain weight. The sight he saw was stupid, yet unexplained somehow. It was fake, and the thing caused him to be afraid. It was utterly disgusting, yet somehow familiar. Lee sprung up from his bed with sweat soaked his red shirt. The electronic clock with its green light showing that it was only 5:43 in the morning. Slowly dragging himself to the shower, Lee began preparing for his daily chores. It is true he involved in a mass murder case, interrogated by the polices, and receiving a “A-” in his English class due to Mrs. Adam encouragement. “Your essay is good. Its grammar and structure are unopen to debate. But its message was too dry to swallow. Now being your professor, I could give you an A and let you to get away with it. But I want to see your improvement, so I will give you a B+ instead and wait for the improvements I desired on your next assignment.” Lee clenched his jaw as he remembers his teacher reason for giving him such a stupid grade. Isn't that Lee had already provided what Mrs. Adam asked in his rubric? Lee grabbed the green towel nearby to dry his face before releasing a long sigh. It seems he will just have to do more on the next assignment to get that A. Opened the restroom, Lee began to clean the whole house. It was a long process as his grandfather provided no help nor thinking about the fact that he should keep the house clean. Spending 5 hours, Lee had vacuum and mobbed the whole house floor, cleaned the kitchen cabinets, sorted unidentified green objects in the refrigerator as well as the garage, did the laundry, prepared his grandfather's toolbox which he used to sculpting something, and took out the trashes. Looking pridefully at the task, he just completed, Lee left the house and headed straight toward to the Cafe de Sucre to buy his grandfather's lunch.
Cafe la Sucre.
Opening the glass door of Cafe la Sucre, Lee catches a faint smell of coffee rushing in his nose. It seems there are not that much of a guest for the only cafe in the whole town. But such thing could easily be explained by the town population. And besides, who would want to walk out when a mass murder is still roaming free on the mountain. Ordering his meal, Lee grabbed the newspaper and sits on the couch near the door. Pulling his black cap down and fixing his grey jacket, Lee began to read today newspaper. The first page was an image of the chief and his promises to bring his son out. The news dived deep in how far the investigation has come. But such thing only raised a smirk on Lee's face as the newspaper slowly turned into a white chrysanthemum, his mother favorite flower. It was pure white and letters decorated its delicate petals. Letting out a small sigh, Lee observed the small flower slowly turned itself back into a crumble pieces of papers.Holding of what used to be a white chrysanthemum and now a crumble piece of paper, Lee let out another sigh as he patiently waiting for his meal.
