I am a male in approximately my mid-twenties with roughly 10 years of roleplaying experience spanning IRC chat rooms (where I started) to forum based play-by-post websites such as this one. Now, with my credentials out of the way I'll go ahead and divest us of the usual disclaimers: I usually post 4-7 paragraphs depending on what I am given. I enjoy creating longer posts but I'm more than happy to post at the speed of my partner. I enjoy playing multiple characters including our plot essential NPCs. I do not require or ask that my partners double or triple as I do, but if you are inclined to play multiple characters then the more the merrier. I play both male and female characters without preference. I prefer MxF and FxF romances; I can play out the adult scenes or fade to black depending on what you want. I'm also not squeamish with mature content so whatever you determine to be your limit for such content is fine. I am primarily interested in fantasy or historically based scenarios, however, I am willing to entertain modern settings if the plot is sufficiently enticing. Below I have listed a few pairings that I'm interested in. Some of these have plots attached and some don't. I encourage you to present your own ideas and desires when you PM me with the pairing you've selected so that we can craft a story around those wants. Fully realized plot threads will be added at the bottom below the pairing list for your perusal, none of them are set in stone and may be altered to fit your interests. This engine will be capable of capturing the souls of dead beings from across the continent before they can pass into the afterlife, utilizing their innate aetheric energy as a means to power the necromancer’s other nefarious devices. To assist in the capture of these components the necromancer has revived a powerful warrior from eras past to serve as their bodyguard until the device can be completed. The plot of this roleplay would revolve around the two villains traveling the world in search of the various components required to build the Eternal Aethrical Engine, engaging in combat, intrigue, and other such encounters along the way. This can be played straight as a down to earth, gritty tale about two villains doing horrible villainous things or it can be played for light-hearted humor with our characters always being foiled at the last second by a plucky band of heroes. I’m fine with playing either role so the choice is up to you.

In the kingdom of Catalan a great distress has fallen over the land and her people. The aging king of Catalan, the wise Godfrey Highcastle has fallen ill and the royal doctors fear the worst for his condition. In this state of emergency a royal council has been convened to decide the matter of the suitability of succession. With only a Consort in the Queen Amelia and a royal daughter left behind, the fate of the kingdom is now without certainty. On the opinion of the council, a suitable male must be found to hold the hand of the Princess in marriage and it will be this man who will succeed the late Highcastle to the throne, instituting a new dynasty. However, the princess is a choosy one and in the end it will be her decision on the ultimate victor in the contest. Unfortunately in the swirling abyss of countries beyond Catalan's borders there are no end to those who would take advantage of her weakness, so the decision must be made soon! The idea of the roleplay would involve myself playing multiple characters seeking the hand of the princess in a sort of royale for ultimate victory. To prevent the roleplay from becoming stale I'll try to rotate a regular cast to keep the plot from becoming to linear and also occasionally bring up events like internal political struggles or external events that will require the attention of the princess to resolve. The princess may also provide contests, competitions, quests, or other problems which the suitors will need to resolve to prove their worthiness. The name of the kingdom can be changed to whatever sounds appropriate for the setting. The royal surname can also be changed, what is presented is merely a placeholder. What do you think?

In the country of Albion there is a town called Marrel which sits on the confluence of two major rivers. The inhabitants of this town are much the same to those you would find anywhere else and for most the desire to live out their lives in the peace and quiet of their cozy settlement is all that preoccupies them. For two citizens, however, this is most assuredly not the case. Across from one another in the town square are two shops inhabited by two individuals who, for their credit, cannot stand one another. For the prideful witch, it is her inability to comprehend the capabilities of her competitor which drives her. For the lazy magician it is the constant amusement he derives from their exchanges which compels him. While these two titans of magic wage their commercial war the other citizens really would just like a little bit of peace and quiet. So the idea for this roleplay is to have two spellcasters who each operate shops which are competing against one another. The specifics of how this came to be can be discussed between the two of us: they might have been colleagues at an academy, perhaps former lovers, or even strangers who had the misfortune to found enterprises across the way from one another. Regardless, this setting can serve as our platform for whatever plot you want to pursue. I have a few already in mind which we can mix and match but I encourage you to also include your own! 1. Both parties are engaged in commercial competition by daylight and subterfuge by night. This could expand to include NPCs throughout the town being involved in one another's light-hearted schemes. 2. The king of Albion issues a call for all able-bodied magicians and both characters answer. They are subsequently dispatched on a quest together, much to their chagrin. Could be played for comedy or gritty action depending on preference. 3. In a bid to knock out their competition once and for all one of the shopkeepers brews a love potion. This backfires in a spectacular way (to be determined).

After the sealing of Ganon by the Hero of Time, Hyrule was safe at last. . . or so they thought. Unbeknownst to the denizens of the mortal realm, fate had conspired to rob them of their new-found freedom just as soon as they had obtained it. A number of powerful sorcerers, acting on their own initiative used their abilities to push back against the power of the Seven Sages, weakening the seal on the ancient realm enough for Ganon to be released from his prison. With Link sent to the past by Zelda's magic, the kingdom is left defenseless against the dark lord and his minions; that is, until an unlikely ally reveals himself for the Hylian cause. Having been betrayed by Ganon after his defeat and sealed in the water temple, the wraith known as Dark Link has used the weakening of the Sage's power to escape himself and is set on revenge against his former master, helping free Hyrule is just a nice bonus. So the story would have Zelda and Dark Link teaming up to take down the various threats that face Hyrule after Link's departure. The story would follow a sort of linear arc as the two assist towns and tackle temples.

She'd been working this mall for over 3 years now, not the most illustrious position in law enforcement, but at least she wasn't a pencil pusher. Still, the common, day-to-day occurrences of the building had become routine, patterned. She’d learned she could catch a shop-lifter almost before they saw the item they wanted to take, at least, all of that was true before he came along. Over the past couple of weeks his exploits had become legendary, he was the talk of every backdoor break room and security maintenance station. The guy could rob a man blind in a matter of seconds, even if the two were standing face to face. But his crimes went beyond petty pick-pocketing. His latest venture had left the jewelry display counter down one high-quality watch and it seemed he was growing bolder and bolder by the day. Well, this was her mall and people around here knew it, if he thought he was going to be able to just waltz on in like he owned the place, he definitely had another thing coming! So the general outline would be a female mall security officer getting caught up in the intrigues of a local 'legendary' (in the sense of petty crimes) mall thief. I wanted to try and make the thief sound more urban legend-ish; he's not committing mass bank-heists or picking up thousands of dollars out of thin air, he's just a small town criminal who happens to be very good at what he does and the cult of personality around his work is sort of blown out of proportion.

Having been thwarted once again by the incorrigible son of Zeus, Hades is left to stew in his juices over the latest humiliation. However, his ever popular and charismatic brother is quick to forgive and, in an attempt to repair their strained familial ties, Zeus invites Hades to Olympus for a godly get-together. Hades expects the worse, but instead of being annoyed to death he spontaneously falls head over heels into a sensation he's never felt before: love. One look at Persephone is enough to excite the lord of the dead's nervous tick: the only problem is how to approach her? So this plot would mostly be played for laughs as everyone, Olympian and Greek alike, try to prevent the budding relationship between the two deities.
More to be added in the future
