[@Poi]I can one-up you on that. Two years later or so, I had graduated and transferred to a university. A very similar relationship formed during my first or second semester. It also lasted about six months, at which point she started dating another guy who was, frankly, obsessive. He tried to who she talked to and where she went, and he succeeded. Unfortunately for him, we stayed pretty close to each other (as in, we kept texting each other).

She called my cell at midnight to say her boyfriend told her she needed to stop talking to me and she kind of agreed, at which point he "caught her" talking to me. He took her phone out of her hand, called me an ***hole, told me he was blocking my number from her phone, and hung up. Never heard from her again.
