Arc 2 Day 1 {One Night in Hell club | About 4 pm } Outside the Club [@13org] Marcus Grimshaw was headed in, a little late to work. He was sure he was going to get it from his boss, but he hadn’t been late before in his three months working here and he was going to be damned if he was going to get fired for his first slip up. He knew she’d probably be extra pissed at him since today was such an important day, but he also figured that she’d probably be distracted with everything that was going on, so hopefully she wouldn’t notice either. She scared him a little bit after all, and he didn’t know if he wanted to see her wrath pointed at him. It was pretty dead, on the outside at least, at the club when he got there a little before four pm when they were set to open open at five. They were actually open now, but things really got started at five, but it was hard to tell that they were open just then. There were a few people milling about, waiting for friends, and some starting to line up that weren’t on the VIP list to wait their turn to get in. He was walking by a particularly good looking woman when he heard her speak outloud to herself. He stopped, shouldering his bag a little bit better and smiled at her. “Well we’re open now. And if you’re interested, I can help you skip the line for sure.” He smiled at her charmingly, gesturing at the front doors and not at all worried about the fact that she was dressed to kill and he was in nothing more than a pair of tight jeans, a t-shirt and boots. Inside the Club Masha had disappeared back into her office again. There were calls to be made and she didn’t need the distraction of the club while she paced and smoked heavily to make sure that while she threatened people for not delivering things on time, that she did so softly, and without swearing too much, so she sounded genuinely like she’d do what she said she would do. That didn’t mean her voice couldn’t still be heard sometimes from inside the room. Rebeca leaned up against the counter, waiting on drink orders from her younger cousin Rich. He was going on about something or another, she was just nodding her head and twisting strands of her red curls around her fingers. It wasn’t that she didn’t care, just that she was too tired to be paying full attention just that moment. “Huh?” she said when Rich said her name and snapped in front of her face. “I said your drinks are ready,” he sighed, sliding the two beers in front of her. “The kido keep you up last night?” Rebeca nodded and sighed, picking up the mugs. “Yeah, because you know, Friday is the best day of the week after all. And he needs to experience every single moment of it.” Rich chuckled and smiled. “Yes well, he is his mother’s child. You brought it on yourself. It will get better though. Eventually he won’t wake you up anymore and he’ll just sneak around doing things.” She sighed and turned away while rolling her eyes. “I’m not really certain that’s better,” she replied as she walked away to deliver her drinks to her table.
