Maoin let out a slightly surprised yelp as her thighs were smacked by the snake-tail and her face blushed for a couple of seconds before she regained control of herself and tried to ignore the creature's tone.  After a few moments the cat ultimately followed with her own cat-like agility - any attempt to run away from her would prove to likely be fruitless due to the woman's natural athletic ability.  And besides, she didn't seem [i]mean[/i].  She'd probably have reacted similarly to an intruder as well.

Demons?  Perhaps this somehow involved that dog based on what this woman was saying?  Perhaps there would be some useful information if she could convince her to rejoin the party?

But upon being affectionately called [i]pet[/i] the girl realized that they knew little about eachother.  [color=darkslateblue]"By the way, I'm Maoin.  Servant of Lady Sorcha.  Do you have a name?"[/color]  It'd probably be best to learn a little about each other, although she likely did have a name.  [color=darkslateblue]"And ... not to be rude ... but you are quite the um ... combination of things?"[/color]  She hoped she would finally have a name in her mind aside from [i]creature[/i] to describe whatever this was.
