I'm using a ruleset called [url=http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/163068/Patrol--A-Vietnam-War-Roleplaying-Game]Patrol[/url] as per the title of this thread.  The rules are a little difficult to understand in places as the book isn't laid out that well, but if you like war RPGs I do recommend the book - it will take a while to get through cover to cover.  I'll be handling all (or most of) the mechanical parts depending how people want to play.  Acting out in this game will consist of players providing their intentions for the turn to me and I'll tell them how it goes.  They can then write a post describing everything they do in as much detail as they want, using the results of the rolls as a guide.

Hope this makes sense.  I might include this in OP for reference.
