Given our large group, I'm going to end up splitting our masses into two separate parties for the main plot, both will be after the same goal but I wish to give them different means to an end, different routes. Now my intent is not to permanently split up this group but to give players a chance to still interact and join a small 2-3 man party whenever they want. Half the group will want to solve the comatose issue one way and the other half will approach it a different way. We'll all still be encouraged to join up mix/match partners/parties for our every-day quests but my idea is to have two different routes to provide some conflict within our large group of friends. Otherwise we run the risk of trying to have a lot of people trying to talk all at once and to me that would be a bit chaotic so I hope in approaching our story differently, we avoid leaving someone out. Is everyone okay with that? I'll likely make one more role so I can have a hang in both 'paths' so to speak but if anyone is worried, I would say 30% will take place in these two groups and the most 70% will be with us free to pick our party members and direction.
