Answer: It is both. 

Now this is all unknown to her, as she has no knowledge of her family. The Astra family was once known for producing powerful wizards. The most talented and powerful child in each generation inherits the name Magus, which it at once both a name and a title. You see, one of the Astra family’s ancient teachings is that Names have power. As such, their children are carefully given meaningful names. The one given the Name ‘Magus’ is not only the strongest, but also the one who is successor for the head of the family. The Magus’ second name is their personal name, like Lilith.


Fun fact, Lilith means “of the night” in Hebrew, while Magus means wizard in Latin and Astra means sky or star. 

So her name in English would be: Wizard of the Night Sky, keeping with her theme of darkness. Also, there is a good reason that she has a name in two languages. 

However, she generally introduces herself to strangers using the alias ‘Kage’. Only those close to her would know her given names.
