"What do you hooligans want?" he barked. The rangers fanned out through the room. Most sat at tables, while the shortest one retreated to a corner. The biggest ranger approached the counter and slammed his palms on it. "Dinner." An uneasy silence hung over the room. The short ranger snorted. "You forgot something Price..." Price flinched. "Please." More uneasy silence. The innkeeper didn't move. "Pay the man," the short ranger reminded. Price forked over a few coins and folded his arms. The innkeeper sheathed his sword. "Very well. I'll look over your attitude just this once. Thelma! Start making the appetizers." He went back into the kitchen, leaving the five enemy rangers alone in the dining room.
