Will had never played a musical instrument and he felt now was not the best time to start. "Oh, I'm not one for playing music but thank you for the offer," he said respectfully declining Jack's invitation to play the tin whistle. "My creativity lies in more materialistic enterprises," he told Jack. "My house is this way, follow me," he said, happily pointing back down river from the way he had arrived earlier. He took his bow and put it over his quiver on his back so as to leave his arms free. "You must have travelled all over the country, how many different places have you been to?" Will asked Jack as they walked along the riverbank towards his house, genuinely interested as Will hardly ever travelled.
