"You'll certainly have to show me once it's done." "Listen Valvi, I really need this to be done as soon as possible. Start working on it now and I'll double your fee. Not a bad deal, right?" Valvus pretended to consider the offer. "Well, if you're willing to pay," Valvus set the sword back in its previous place before taking the tortured piece of metal. "I can probably get it straightened out the next time the shop is open. Is that alright?" Valvus didn't wait for an answer, he already knew what Vocere would say. He got to work, placing the piece of metal in the forge with the help of his tongs. Val was thankful he had recently bought new gloves, if he had done any forge work with the old ones he would probably have gotten burned because of the amount of holes. He flexed his hand, feeling the softness of the new leather glove. It didn't take long for the metal to heat up. Valvus took it out of the forge and began the real work of straightening it out. It took a god awful long time just for a small portion of the fix, but he had nothing but time. [@Ithradine]
