[@Burning Kitty] isn't mistaken. The Grandeur is a ship with less [i]Grandeur[/i] than the Enterprise. I believe that the families on board were allowed for the deep space travel and the potential of being with out contact for a while. The ship will certainly be more luxurious than the run of the mill ship it still is in the navy.
