Freya
w/ [@Pseudo Stygian] :D
Hello love! So you're father and I decided that we're gonna enroll into this lovely academy where you can learn all sorts of cool new things, meet other people your age, and improve on your elemental skills! Don't worry, you'll love this school very much! They offer lots of opportunities for you to grow not just as an elementalist but also as an artist. Heck, that academy is where both me and your father went to and now you get to learn everything that we experienced there as students all on your own. By the way, we forgot to tell you that they've already started their school year and by the time you get there, you'll already be three months late. Hey, don't give me that look! No, we didn't forget to tell you. Well, okay we did forget to tell you but that's because... it... yeah I got no excuse. Besides, we know you can catch up in no time! Love you, Sparkles! Those were the exact words that Freya's mother told her when they were in the middle of a yoga class. She was focusing so hard on doing the right pose and trying not let her mom know she's the culprit who ate the leftover Chipotle that the only response she made was, "What?!" If there's one thing she hates about her parents is that they're always trying something new. Like, always. Name one activity that you would like to try, they're already doing it plus a lot more. This attitude of theirs is the reason why she and Frey always move to a different school once they finished one school year on their present ones. A downfall of this is that Freya never really had solid friends but talking to new and different people every year is what gets her excited the most. Frey doesn't seem to be bothered by this since he's still friends with his classmates from two years ago. The fact that her little brother has a more active social life than hers is what made her question her existence. Freya observed her newfound friend, Lyra. She saw Lyra a while ago carrying a flute but with her up close Freya began to feel excitement as she already met another musician she can vibe with. She do noticed Lyra spacing out every once in a while, which didn't bother Freya because she met a lot of kids at the orphanage like Lyra. Most of them had harsh lives in the streets and somewhere worse, and also the things they did just to survive a day, which made them a bit traumatized as a result. Freya's family partnered with a bunch of certified psychologists to make sure they'll turn back to their once youthful and happy selves. Wow, now I'm the one spacing out, Freya thought. She snapped back in time for her to hear what Lyra said about her being free for now. "A trip downtown for lunch? Well don't mind if I do! In fact, I'm really starving right now", Freya said with an earnest smile.
