Mei watched the scene unfold in front of her. She pinpointed a few noteworthy individuals. Some went upstairs to handle their own "business" while others stood at the bar and drank. Some went off to play cards. She didn't want to stand out too much, so she moved to the bar and ordered a drink. She kept one ear open though. Surely there would be some talk. Especially if they got drunk enough.

She wished she saw who shot her so she could avoid them particularly. Hopefully, she didn't stand out thanks to her new duster jacket. It proved to be somewhat of a good luck charm.

She downed the rest of her own drink and ordered another one.

She saw the few get up and walk over to the tables and a lightbulb went off in her head. [color=8E0331]"I reckon a game of cards should be fun. There are other things to occupy our time here, but I'd rather save those for later. Shall we?"[/color] Jackie didn't really give the boy much choice as she took his hand and walked over to where the group sat down.
