The train slowly puffed to a stop as it had arrived at the train station it was destined to be at. Smoke was puffing from some of the copper pipes under the hefty machine making the station a tad misty, just the perfect setting for a rainy autumn day like this. Rikka stared up at the sky from her cabine window seeing that it was colored a very boring color of grey. The rain and sky altogether made her feel a bit drowsy and lacking at the same time. If she could only be under a comfortable warm blanket right now that would be her one and only wish right now, but she couldn't complain about the weather right now when there was a life changing event about to happen for her. 

Rikka got off her chair and walked after all the other students out of the train zeroing herself in as one of the last people to arrive at the courtyard. Rikka watched her eyes out at what was all happening around her, all the different and weird looking people, students much larger than her while still being first years, weird looking teachers, a beautiful garden full of flowers and trees, the magic happening above her that she had not even noticed up till now. It was something completely different than she was used too. Today Rikka wore a black skirt about knee height long, white knee socks to cover up the bareness of her legs, a sloppy pink shirt that hung from her shoulder. and a brown leather jacket for the rain.

She noticed the other group arriving later then the first group with mostly only chimeras in it it seemed. Were they so cautiousness of humans that they had to leave such a gap between themselves and the humans? She hadn't seem as much chimeras as others in her life yet because of the small barely populated town she lived in before coming here. That is why it was struck as a bit weird to see them going off the train after the humans. What did not come to mind was that humans and chimeras got off in turns for no particular reason. Rikka turned her head back to what supposedly was the main stage again, watching patiently till something was about to happen just like most others did.

Everyone had their eyes on the podium, Rikka tried glancing away a few times feeling rather awkward with this situation but quickly snapped her head back when anyone around her had seen her drop attention. Silently she watched the ceremony unfold, a screen had lowered from ceiling and got anchored down by some wires with what presumably also magic. A short movie? The movie went on about a life with happy children and gradually revolved into some sort of recruitment horror movie. Why did they show this to them? It was a bit of a weird video she thought.

Soon the crowd started moving again leading Rikka into some new areas of the school as she gave an awe at every and each room they came by and went through. Eventually they ended up in the cafeteria where they could each get something for themselves. Rikka silently went up to the line too and got herself a big plate of mild curry, one of her favorites. As any normal person she just sat down somewhere close to the half dog chimera with not too much other people so she could be alone for a bit and eat at peace. She immediately poked her spoon into the warm rice dish and slowly dug through the whole plate. A wild situation had enveloped around her but Rikka put not attention to it taken away by the taste of this well done dish. People were slapping each other and taunting back and fort but that was to utmost important right now.
