I'm wagering between two different setups and would like your input. The two options are below: 1. Guiding a Nation: In this set up, there would be a single PC nation. You would represent ministers, generals, admirals, politicians and even the Head of State in this nation. People would obviously be vying to take control and have their own policies implemented but at what cost? This nation would largely be generated by a RNG, and I as the GM would represent basic plots and outside nation ambitions. - 4 Votes 2. A Tale of Great Powers: In this set up, there would be two or three Great Powers. You would represent the ministers, generals, admirals, politicians and leaders of these nations. They would obviously be rivals (Russian Empire, United Kingdom, French Empire, et al) or in a duo (French Empire and United Kingdom, for example), so there would be two layers of competition and conflict: those within your nation and those on the international stage. - 6 Votes The theme however, would be the same: the Napoleonic Era. Let me know your thoughts/opinions. The Vizymr (Landed Nobles) hold much political sway. Economy: Mostly agrarian with limited crafts and arms industry. $25,000,000 in debt due to war indemnities and trade deficits. Currency: Denzmark Naming Conventions: Polish, Romanian, Hungarian. Overview: During the Constantinian Wars (1793 - Current), Denzgraad has been all but a background player. While the Taranian Regent Constantine IV walked the Tarantine Black Army both and forth across the continent, Denzgraad sent paltry forces under the guise of volunteers. Emperor Michael XI, fearful of drawing the ire of Constantine, refused to send the Denzgradian Imperial Army into the fray. Military: The Denzgradian Imperial Army is a minute, albeit professional force. The Denzradian Irregulars are local militia's and make up the bulk of the Denzgradian forces during war time. Denzgraad is landlocked and thus has no navy.

The Royal Kingdom of Merenia Capital: Serenus Population: 31,400,000 Language: Merenian Religion: 88% Mitthist, 11% Tarahism, 1% Other Demonym: Merenian Government: Parliamentary Monarchy under Susanne of Vernwald (33), Prime Minister Quinn Trembley (51). Economy: Semi-industrialized with expert crafts industry. $120,000,000 in debt due to war indemnities and trade deficits. Currency: Merenian Shield. Naming Conventions: British, Scottish, Irish. Overview: The principle opponent of Constantine the Regent, Merenia has long held sway as one of the colonial powers in the world, her potential marred largely by corruption in politics. The defeat of the Merenian Royal Army at Ten Fields (1801) has set her back considerably and saw the Common Parliament to vote for Prime Minister Trembley's dismissal, a vote slated to be held in the coming months. With nearly a third of her population in far away colonies, Merenia is considered "the land of the setting sun," as she faces emigration, corruption and a devalued Crown that has cost her much in the way of trade. Military: The Royal Merenian Army is in shambles after a major defeat at Ten Fields. Her Professionals number 18,000 and her Colonial forces, spread across the globe number about 55,000. The Royal Merenian Navy is the largest in the world, with 33 Ships of the Line, 55 Frigates and 68 Merchant Ships.
