Rin steeled their expression.
[I]....Twice....[/i]
Their eyes flickered to Anusobeket who stared cooly at the rolling Pokéball.
[I]..........Three Times....[/i]
[Color=rosybrown]"Yes!"[/color] Rin exclaimed, hopping into the air.
[I]......................Four....[/I]
[I][Color=rosybrown]"No!"[/color][/i] Rin shrieked, slipping on their landing and falling chin first. Pushing themself back up Rin began to call out, [Color=rosybrown]"Anu, u-!"[/color]

The command drooled out of their now hanging jaw.

Rin merely blinked.

With the dazzling chirp of the pokéball confirming a successful capture, Rin yanked the pokéball off the dirt, and hastily sent the [i]Chikorita[/i] back out of its ball. [Color=rosybrown]"You are really hilarious!"[/color]
Swaddling the newly caught [i]Chikorita[/i] in their arms, Rin lifted him up as they spun around; heartily laughing all the while. [Color=rosybrown]"You really had me going there! I totally thought this would be the end of it all."[/color] No longer fearing a fight, it seemed Rin's honesty had returned, and so did Anusobeket's playful side. The [i]Totodile[/I] chased after them in a circle. Scooping Anu into their free arm, Rin introduced the two with animated enthusiasm.[Color=rosybrown]"Anusobeket, we're gonna be traveling with this guy now; we're stuck with him!"[/color] Rin teased with no response from the Pokémon in question. Rin hefted them both up in their arms to keep them from slipping. [Color=rosybrown]"He's your new brother, so spar if you like --Arceus knows me and my sisters did-- but no biting or bruising, alright?"[/color] Anu looked like she might consider the offer, while the unamed pokémon seemed unphased. [Color=rosybrown]"You're pretty chill, huh? Takes a lot to get a reaction out of you?"[/color] The male shrugged as best he could. [Color=rosybrown]"Challenge accepted then,[/color] Rin devishly smirked. [Color=rosybrown]"I'll pull astonishment out of you one these days . . . uh . . ."[/color] Rin was going to adress the [i]Chikorita[/i] by name, but Rin hadn't given him one yet. They furrowed their brows. [Color=rosybrown]"Hm . . . how's Osajyin sound?"[/color]

[Color=DAF7A6]"Chika,"[/color] he practically yawned noncommittaly in full display of his easygoing nature.

[Color=rosybrown]"I'm taking that as yes."[/color] Rin said before hiking them up one last time in their arms, and did their best to lift them as high as they could. [Color=rosybrown]"Elite 4, here we come!"[/color] With that, they took off deeper in the forest; just now beginning to trek the inclines of hills, and see the clearings of meadows. Rin intended to catch em all, so that meant no breaking at just one or [i]four[/i] catches. Sure, they spent two Pokéballs on him, but they'd cross that bridge when they came to it. Now was the time for exploration! [i]Two Pokémon Down, Eight-Hundred Left To Go![/i]
