It was something of a personal achievement - though why exactly he felt that way, he didn't really understand. Perhaps it was because this girl beside him didn't exactly seem like the type of person to joke around. She seemed like the serious type of girl. He knows of a couple of people like her, but he doesn't mind having friends like that. In fact, he was pretty grateful for them since they usually kept him from doing something extremely stupid. Like that one time when he was thinking about getting hit by lightning and see if he can find out how fast he can go. One of his good friends, who was the most sensible out of them, managed to successfully stop him from trying, reasoning that it wasn't exactly the best idea and then told him that he should just stay within the limits of artificial electricity - just to be safe. He looked over to the stage when Yoshiba mentioned it. Like she said, there still wasn't anyone there to introduce themselves or the school. "There must have been some kind of problem." He replied with a shrug. It was kind of odd that this was happening. Usually, teachers were on time so that it wouldn't reflect badly on them. He began tapping his leg, out of boredom. Like her, he wanted to actually do something aside from sitting down. Even if he was a conditional speedster, he liked to do things quick and fast. It's not like he felt that this was a complete waste of time - but it would be better if he was moving or was able to do something else. Heck, he was already itching to take out a his portable gaming console in his pocket - but it might get confiscated. "I wanna go on the tour... or whatever comes next to be honest." He admitted to his seatmate. He wasn't actually the type of person to sit down through an entire speech without at least once nodding off... or talking to the person in front of him, to the side, or sometimes to the back.
